StagNites Advice
Like to organise a successful stag weekend?
Get everything organised well in advance with your best estimate of numbers. Send e-mails, text messages or stag party invitations using package information from StagNites. Why not click on our Facebook package links and share your ideas with your mates.
Choose the weekend package you like and secure this with just a single person deposit for your group. At StagNites, we only ask for a one off payment for the whole party (not per person), so choose the flexible way and book with us. Individuals can also pay their amounts seperately on-line - which makes life easier for you!
Advise attendees when the final balance is due. StagNites don't require this until 6 weeks before the departure date, however you might like to tell your friends that they need to settle 7 weeks before as this will give you a bit more time for last minute planning.
Stag Parties traditionally leave buying their accessories to the last minute and pay a small fortune by getting wigs, shades, blow-up sheep and handcuffs together for all those traditional surprises. Book with StagNites and we'll give you 20% discount from our on-line Stag Party Accessory Shop.
Let everyone know where to meet, who's going to drive (someone who won't be drinking!), what to wear, how much cash to bring, and what time you expect to get back. A Tour Itinerary is always useful and should include mobile numbers to keep in contact. Once your group have paid their final balance, you can get transport quotes for taxis and mini buses in your On-Line Booking Area.
Decide who is going to keep an eye on the Groom To Be. We're sure you'll have a few cunning plans but just make sure he gets back safely or you might have the Bride To Be on your back!
When paying for anything, try to pay in cash, this way you can be sure that everything is settled and not all put on a costly credit card.
If, as often happens on stag nights, there are several groups of friends who do not know each other, it's a good idea for the groom to introduce each person, relating a funny tale about them as he goes along.
Leave a credit card and some cash in a safe place (i.e. in your sock or in the hotel safe). This is incase the guests decide to leave you and the stag with no money or luggage in the middle of nowhere. Ensure that from the earliest convenience a kitty is opened. Get the most reliable person in the group to collect the money from everybody and give it to you. Remember, don't accept anything other than cash.
Your Checklist
Have you got a list of everybody going on the stag do? Has everyone turned up?
Have you printed off and taken your Welcome Pack? Remember to take this with you as it has all the details for your weekend, including addresses and contact numbers.
Are there any people with special needs or particular diets?
Do all the guests have a Tour Itinerary? Do you have directions? Keep these safe and handy as you'll bound to be asked by someone who forgot theirs!

Drinking
Of course we don't need an excuse to for drinking. Remember, have a good time but know your limitations and drink responsibly. Some venues and hotels can turn groups away for excessive behaviour!
There are some side effects however, common ones being headaches, dry mouth and generally feeling under the weather.
Hangover Cures and Interesting Facts
Many people say they don't get hangovers, some say that they only get these from certain drinks. This is true, hangovers are caused by congeners, a chemical substance already in the booze.
It's not the alcohol, it's a chemical byproduct of the fermenting process that gives flavor but at the same time, insults the brain. Particularly high levels of congeners exist in whisky and cognac, but less in clear spirits.
Hangover Cures Helpful Information
Some gentle exercise is useful to sweat out the toxins, possibly a run to the hotel bathroom but ideally a sauna and a massage is ideal.
Good sleep during stag weekends are essential for party goers. Try to get at least 6 hours sleep (if possible!).
